Questions we can answer plainly.
For a part, use the quote form. For anything else, email contact@impactprototyping.com. We reply to quote requests directly by email.
What files can I send?
STL, STEP, 3MF, OBJ, PDF drawings, and photographs. A written description is enough to start if you do not have a file yet.
Are my files private?
Yes. Files you upload are stored privately and used to prepare your quote. They are not published.
When do I pay?
You receive a quote before any work begins. Once you approve a quote, we send an invoice for the deposit (card or bank transfer) and start production when it is paid. The balance is invoiced when the parts are ready.
How long does it take?
Lead time is quoted per job. We do not promise a same-day or fixed turnaround.
What will you not make?
We do not make sterile devices, implants, or regulated medical devices. If a job is outside what we can produce, we say so.
Can you make the part again?
Yes. Repeat orders use the same approved file. The price and lead time are quoted for that order.
Do I need a finished drawing?
A file is the most direct start. A sketch, a photo with dimensions, or a sample can also be quoted. Tell us how the part has to fit and what environment it sees.
