Impact Prototyping quotes and produces custom parts from files or a description you send. These terms describe that work. They are not legal advice. Using this website, sending a quote request, or sending a contact message means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
You can request a quote on the quote form or by email. Tell us what the part has to do, and attach a file if you have one. We reply with a price before any work begins. A quote is for that job. We may decline a request, including work we do not take, such as sterile devices, implants, and regulated medical devices.

Files you upload are stored privately. We use them to prepare the quote and, if you approve it, to produce the parts. We do not publish them. You confirm that you have the right to send the files and descriptions you submit.
Once you approve a quote, we send an invoice for the deposit (card or bank transfer) and start production when it is paid. The balance is invoiced when the parts are ready. Prices are in US dollars. Card numbers are not entered on this website.
Lead time is stated on the quote. After the deposit is paid, we produce the parts and check them against the approved file. We pack the finished parts and ship them to the address you provide.
Email us if you need to change or stop a job. Work that has already started is covered by the deposit.
The contact form is for questions. We use your name, email, subject, and message to reply. For a part, use the quote form.
Text, images, and branding on this website belong to Impact Prototyping. You may not copy them for your own commercial use without permission. Files you send stay yours. You allow us to use them to quote and produce the job you approved.
Parts are custom prototypes and functional pieces for the use you describe. They are not certified safety equipment, protective equipment, structural supports, medical devices, or substitutes for professionally engineered components.
To the extent the law allows, Impact Prototyping is not liable for indirect or consequential damages from use of the site or the parts. Our responsibility for a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version.
