02 The work

What to send us

  • The part being located, or a model of it
  • The hole pattern or locating features
  • A photo of the operation
  • The load the guide sees, in plain language
  • Which surfaces have to stay accurate

Fit and limits

A printed guide is for the load and the accuracy you describe. We do not quote a numeric tolerance. Tell us which dimensions matter.

How we approach it

We design the guide around the operation you repeat and quote it before any work begins.

Typical uses

  • Drill guides
  • Assembly fixtures
  • Alignment jigs

Materials

  • PETG
  • ABS / ASA
  • Nylon / carbon fiber

PETG for most guides. Nylon when the fixture carries a higher load. We confirm that on the quote.

03 Questions

Questions about this work

How accurate is a printed guide?

Accurate enough for the fit you describe, not a machined gauge. We do not guarantee a numeric tolerance. Name the dimensions that matter and we will quote with that in mind.

Can it take a load?

Tell us what the guide has to resist. We will say if a printed fixture is a poor fit and recommend a material only when it is.

What if I only have a sketch?

A sketch with dimensions is enough to quote. Design support is optional on the quote form.
